Why is my Pledge not confirmed in MTF?

Under the Direct payout facility, shares purchased under MTF are transferred to your mapped demat account followed by creation of an auto-pledge in favour of 'Client Securities under Margin Funding Account'. If the pledge cannot be established due to an inactive, frozen, or suspended demat account or any other reason which are beyond our control, ICICI Securities reserves the right to settle, square off, or close out such unconfirmed positions within five trading days from the payout date.
