How do I add shares to my Portfolio? How can I transfer shares bought on another broking platform to my ICICI Direct demat account?

You can manually add shares from the Portfolio page under the Stocks section on the website. In case of transfer of shares to ICICI Direct demat account, the transactions details of the shares can be manually updated on Portfolio page.

On Old website-

The different ways to add shares to Portfolio page are as follows:

A. Through Advance Options

Go to Portfolio > Click on Advance Options > Click on Add New Transaction Manual > Add new transactions

B. Through Transaction History

Go to Portfolio > Under Actions column, click on three dots for the stock in which you want to add manual entries > Click on Transaction History > Click on Add Transaction

C. Through File upload

In case you want to upload multiple transaction entries in bulk, the file containing the details can be uploaded through the File Upload option. Go to Portfolio > Click on Advance Options > Upload New Transaction
