Here’s how you can transfer your shares from PINS to Non-PINS:

Step-by-Step Process
Step 1: Add Beneficiary through NSDL SPEED-e
1. Download the NSDL SPEED-e App
o Available on the Play Store.
2. Register or Log in
o For new users: Choose “New User Registration.”
o For existing users: Log in with your credentials.
3. Add Non-PINS Beneficiary
o Go to “Off Market Transactions” in the menu.
o Select “Add Beneficiary.”
o Enter the details of your Non-PINS Demat account.
o Confirm via OTP sent to your email.
4. Confirmation
o You will receive a notification once your beneficiary is successfully added.

Step 2: Place Transfer Request from PINS to Non-PINS
1. Log in to your ICICI Direct account.
2. Select your PINS account.
3. Go to Demat Holdings and click on “Transfer to Non-PINS.”
4. Select the Non-PINS account and enter the quantity of shares you wish to transfer.
5. Tick the “Portfolio Adjustment” box and click Submit.

Step 3: OTP Authentication
1. After submitting the transfer request, you’ll see a “success” status on your screen.
2. You’ll receive an email from the depository with a link to confirm your transfer request.
3. Confirm the transfer via OTP, or alternatively, visit NSDL Services and select “Accept Off Market Transfer Request.” Input your PAN or DPID/Client ID to confirm.

Important:
• Ensure OTP validation is completed on the same day or the next working day (if it’s a weekend or holiday).
• The holding pattern of both demat accounts must match.
• Ensure your email ID is updated in your demat account for OTP/confirmation emails.

Key Points to Remember:
• Transfer instructions are processed at periodic intervals.
• Transfers requested after 4:00 PM IST will be processed the following day.
• If the transfer request isn’t confirmed, it will expire, and you will need to initiate a new request.
