For how long would my order be valid for execution?

At ICICI Direct, all orders accepted are valid only for the day. Any pending order at the end of trading session for the day are cancelled by our system. However, you can place orders after the trading hours and the orders would be considered valid for the next trading session on the exchange as and when the market opens next.

You can also place Good Till Trigger (GTT) orders which have a validity of 365 days and will be executed when the trigger price is reached.
