Why am I unable to register my children’s email ID and mobile number in my ICICI Direct account?

You will not be able to update your dependent parent’s email if and mobile number in your ICICI Direct account if

A. Your age is greater than Dependent parent’s account. In this case, you need to provide either correct Email ID/ Mobile number relationship or provide different mobile number.

B. Gender of both account holders you are marking as Dependent parents are same. In this case, you need to provide either correct Email ID/ Mobile number relationship or provide different mobile number.

C. You have not declared common email ID Mobile number in one of account as Self. As in case of common email id and mobile number, it is mandatory to have relationship as ‘Self’ in at least one active account. You will need to register relationship of common email ID and Mobile number as self in your one of the accounts.
