How to change the date of birth in ICICI Direct trading account?

If your Date of Birth in ICICI Direct trading account is not as per PAN details, you can change it easily online by following easy steps.

Steps for address change in trading account-

1) Login to ICICI Direct website

2) Go to Help (?)

3) Scroll down to click on ‘New Service Request’ in Self Help section

4) Go to ‘Update Address/KYC in trading account’

5) Enter your Aadhaar number and the captcha code on Digilocker page

6) Enter OTP sent to the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar

7) Enter your Digilocker PIN

8) Digilocker will list your documents like PAN and Aadhaar Card. Select both PAN Card and Aadhaar Card and proceed

9) We will check if your registered Date of Birth in ICICI Direct trading account matches with your Date of Birth as per PAN.

If it mismatches, you will be prompted to enter your DOB as per PAN. If entered DOB is exactly as per your PAN details, you will be allowed to proceed further.

10) Your updated DOB and personal details will be shown. Please check and confirm.

11) Click 'Proceed to take selfie' and allow camera access when prompted

12) Once the selfie is captured successfully, you'll see a green outline

13) Allow location access when prompted for IPV (In-Person Verification)

14) You will be redirected for E-sign on protean website. Select the checkboxes on the form and enter your Aadhaar number to proceed.

15) You will receive OTP on your Aadhaar linked mobile number. Verify the OTP to complete the e-signature process

16) Your online Name change application is now complete. It will take up to 3 days to update the name in both Trading and Demat account.
