What are creation units?

Creation units are the minimum number of ETF units that can be bought or sold directly with the AMC.

For example:

For example, if the creation unit size of an ETF is 50,000 units and the ETF price is ₹200, then:

Creation unit value = ₹200 × 50,000 = ₹1 crore

These large transactions are usually done by institutional investors and Authorized Participants (APs).
