What happens if I dont square off my position before expiry?

The system will perform an Auto Square-Off to protect your account on best effort basis.

• All Options: All Commodity Option open positions will be squared off by ICICI Direct on expiry day around 10:00 PM on best efforts basis.
• Physically Settled Futures: All Commodity Futures open positions for Physical Settled contracts like Gold, Silver, Copper, etc. would be squared off by ICICI Direct on one trading day prior to the start of Delivery period around 10:00 PM on best efforts basis.
• Cash-settled Futures: All Commodity Futures open positions for Cash Settled contracts like Crude, NATGAS (except Electricity) would be squared off by ICICI Direct on expiry day around 10:00 PM on best efforts basis.
• Electricity Futures: Electricity Futures open positions would be squared off by ICICI Direct on one day prior to expiry day around 10:00 PM on best efforts basis.
