How can I add more margin?

You can easily add funds anytime using the "Add Margin" option available on the Open Positions page > Click on Particular Open Position. This may help protect your open positions from automatically squared off, in case of margin shortfall. Important to note, any excess margin you have added for particular position during the day, will be released back to your Commodity Limit in End of Day (EOD) process.

Another way to safeguard your position form margin shortfall is to keep extra allocation of cash or securities/collateral limits in commodity segment so that in case available margin in any of your position goes below the minimum margin, system will automatically pool the required margin amount (Difference between IM and AM) from commodity limit section if sufficient additional limit is available in commodity segment.
