Funds are available in my bank account, but I still got a margin call. Why?

In case of margin shortfall in commodity segment, the trading system only considers funds that have been allocated to commodity segment. Unallocated funds in your linked bank account or funds allocated in other than commodity segment like stocks, F&O segment, cannot be automatically used to cover a margin shortfall. You are required to ensure sufficient fund allocation to the commodity segment for open positions.
